We spent a decade doing this by hand.
That is the only reason organicaly was born.
For ten years we ran organic growth inside enterprise teams - 50+ brands, catalogues in the tens of thousands, the kind of programmes where a single collection page carries real revenue. We were the people the work waited on.
Four things broke, every week, on every account.
Weeks to an answer.
Research took weeks and recommendations took longer. By the time a plan was signed off, the quarter it was written for had moved on.
A quarter in the backlog.
Approved work sat in an engineering queue for a quarter, sometimes two. The change was never the hard part; getting it shipped was.
No tool could decide.
Every tool we bought could find a problem and none could decide which problem was worth solving. That judgement was ours, and it did not scale.
Nobody could say why.
When traffic finally moved, nobody could say whether it was the rewrite, the season or the algorithm.
So we automated our own work. It made us faster, and that was the moment we understood the real problem: our speed was never what the brand was paying for.
The gap was between deciding and shipping, and between shipping and knowing. We built the engine to close both.
Four principles.
One for each gap. They are the reason the engine is shaped the way it is.
A quarter is not a unit of work.
Research to live change in one session, not one roadmap cycle.
A recommendation is not a change.
Advice that sits in a queue is worth nothing. The engine writes to the site.
The decision is the product.
Detection is solved. Execution is solved. Measurement is solved. What no tool automates is knowing which fix is worth making — so that is what we built.
If it cannot be measured, it did not happen.
Every change is held against the pages it touched, with the rest of the site as the control. Losers get reverted.
What it adds up to.
Measured against a control. Every figure here is one we can show the working for.
We are hiring people who have done the work.
If you have spent years watching good recommendations die in a backlog, we would like to talk.
